Description
* We have received reports that container carrier, MSC TAVVISHI (IMO: 9189366) was struck by a missile said to be launched by Houthi Rebels in a position approximately 70 nautical miles southwest of Aden, Yemen on 08 June 2024.
* It is reported that a fire was ignited at the aft of the vessel as a consequence of the missile strike.
* The vessel is now reported to be proceeding to its next port of call.
* Nevertheless, it is possible that General Average issues may arise as a result of this casualty.
* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
